다이어트 식욕억제제로 승인받은 벨빅이라는 약은
로카세린(Locaserin)이라는 성분으로서, 세로토닌 수용체에 결합하여 세로토닌 효과를 냅니다.
프로작으로 유명한 플루옥세틴(Fluoxetine) 은
세로토닌 흡수를 저해하여 세로토닌 농도를 높입니다. 플루옥세틴 또한
비만 치료제로서 보조적으로 사용하기도 하는데요,
둘다 세로토닌 농도에 관여하지만 약간 다르지요~?
로카세린과 플루옥세틴의 기전과 효과, 부작용의
모든 것에 대해 간단하게 표로 정리하였습니다.
굉장히 세세한 의학적 정보가 있기 때문에
의학적 지식이 없는 분들은 다소 어려운 표현이 있을 수 있습니다.
미리 경고~!!
로카세린은 세로토닌을 자극하는 역할을 하고,
플루옥세틴은 세로토닌 흡수를 저해하는 작용을 합니다.
둘다 세로토닌의 농도를 높인다는 공통점이 있지만,
약간의 차이가 있죠~?
특히나 5-HT2C 수용체에 대해서 로카세린은 Agonist로서,
플루옥세틴은 Antagonist로서 작용한다는 가장 큰 차이점이 있습니다.!!
세로토닌에 관여하지만 비슷한듯 다르지요~?
